Three Bathroom Designs That Will Make You Want To Remodel Yours Yesterday

Designing your bathroom remodel? Stuck on tile options? Clawfoot tub or freestanding? Here are three spectacular bathroom designs you need to explore, and all the materials it takes to create them in your space.

Terrazzo Spa Bathroom

Let’s start with the Terrazzo Spa Bathroom, designed by Amanda Martin – founder of Hook Interiors and part of the Beam design partner community. Inspired by the relaxation you feel at a spa and using rich, luxurious textures - Martin has created an oasis for the homeowner dreaming of a soak at the Four Seasons.

In the designer’s own words:

“Combining both natural stone and terrazzo give this space a fresh and rich feel. In the floorplan, we combined the tub and shower into one large space, achieving that spa-like atmosphere, which feels open and light with the utilization of a single glass partition.”

And that’s not all...

“The custom-designed vanity is accentuated by an accent wall of varying stone sizes and colors creating a dramatic showpiece.”

Modern Tranquility

For another, quite different yet equally delightful, take on the spa (because who doesn’t love a good spa?!) Jeremy Gleiberman has designed this swanky take on the primary bathroom. The space feels clean and minimalist, but with contrasting rich details that evoke a warm and inviting atmosphere.

In the designer’s own words:

“Take a trip to the spa without leaving your home. This modern master bathroom combines warm walnut cabinetry, traditional marble countertops, and finishes with clean minimalist lines.”

Raw and Refined

Last but definitely not least, we are positively drooling over this sage-green powder room design from Ashley Fitch. A serene and sophisticated take on what can often be an overlooked opportunity, Fitch’s use of color and texture in this design can only be described as both dramatic and calming at once.
